You directly provide us with most of the data we collect.  We collect data when you contact us via email or via or our web forms, when you subscribe to email alerts or subscribe to newsletters or when you leave feedback on any of our blog articles.

Why we need your data.

We use information generated by Google Analytics to see how you use the site.  We do this to understand how our site is being used.  We use data provided by you to respond to your email queries or to respond to comments you leave on our blog articles.  We use information that you provide us with to compile email alerts or newsletter distribution lists.

What do we do with your data.

We only use your data for legitimate business purposes – namely responding to your emails and replying to feedback on our blog articles.  We will not sell or rent the data that you provide us with to third parties.  We do not store any personal information through Google Analytics.  We do not analyse tracking information or combine it with other data to determine identity. We will only use it for marketing purposes if you have subscribed to receive communication from us, for example email alerts or newsletters.

How we store and protect your data.

Data that you provide us with is treated with care and managed in accordance with good data management and governance principles & practice.  We use secure cloud-based systems.  We only keep data for as long as is necessary for business purposes and for as long as the law requires us to.

Your rights and how to contact us.

You have the right to request information about how your data is processed and a copy of that data.  You also have the right to request that any inaccuracies are corrected.  You can raise objections about how we process your data, request that it is erased, or its use is restricted.  If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.  If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the Contact Us form.
